    You can also challenge the Druk Path Trek, from Paro to Thimphu. This trek takes you to trek through dense forests of blue pine, cross high passes and mountain ridges up to more than 4,000 meters, and pass by some of the area’s pristine lakes.

    If you go to Gangtey, you can trek the Gangte Nature Trail, which takes only about 1.5 hours, starting from the mani stone wall to the north of the Gangtey Gompa and ending in Khewa Lhakhang. This is a good chance to enjoy the enchanting natural scenery in Phobjikha Valley.

  • 4. How to get Bhutan visa for the Bhutan yoga retreat?

    Before getting the Bhutan visa, you need to book a Bhutan yoga tour with a registered travel agency. Bhutan Visas are only available for tourists once the tour has already been booked, and it is not possible to make the application for the visa yourself. Once you have booked your yoga tour with us, we will make the application for the visa on your behalf, using scanned color copies of your passports.

    The visa process normally takes only a few days, and once approved, we will forward the copy of the Visa Approval Letter to your email address. This is not the visa itself, but you will need the hard copy of this to book and board your flights to Bhutan with either Druk Air or Bhutan Airlines, the only two carriers allowed to land at the Paro International Airport. Upon your arrival, the Bhutan visa will be stamped into your passports at the immigration desk of Paro Airport.
